There are no incidences as voters waited in an orderly manner to exercise their franchise under the watchful of security operatives.
Materials were said to have arrived early, although respondents could not give the exact of arrival of the materials.
At Ward 11 unit 05, deputy governorship candidate of the APC, Mr. Phillip Shuabu voted at about 9.47am. He commended INEC, saying that the electoral umpire was very prepared for the election, even as he expressed optimism that his party would emerge victorious.
“I think INEC is prepared. They did very well. You can see the orderly manner of the election. It’s being impressive. I am particularly impressed with the card readers,” Shuabu said.
Most of the units so far visited witnessed impressive turn out of voters.
