Miley Cyrus wears elegant lace as discusses her low-key life with Liam Hemsworth, new TV role and why she's quit the red carpet

She's become quite the activist since her Disney Channel days, speaking out about issues facing homeless and LGBTQ youth as well as her favorite political candidates.
And speaking with Elle for the magazine's October issue, Miley Cyrus gushed about telling her The Voice contestants to 'Be Bernie Sanders,' and why she won't soon be seen walking a red carpet.
'I don't want this to come off the wrong way,' the 23-year-old said, prefacing her politically-inspired advice, adding: 'Be the person people want and love. Don't worry about the masses.'
'That's how you make a memorable moment. Let people talk about it,' Miley - who will be joining fellow coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Alicia Keys on the NBC hit competition series - added, of telling her contestants to follow the 75-year-old Senator's lead.
And Miley has certainly followed her own advice, as she revealed to the magazine that she has decided to never walk another red carpet.
She seemed to have been left with a bad taste in her mouth after last hitting the carpet in December 2015 for the premiere of Netflix special A Very Murray Christmas.
